Turkey Day Activity
Hello everyone! Here in the United States of America, we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow. As an adult, it’s a lovely occasion to relax and cook and also be a little bit frantic at just the right times (so many sides! How will everything be done at just the right time?! It’s always a bit of a Turkey Miracle, if you will). As a kid I loved it as a day off of school, of course. I liked helping in the kitchen, but it was okay to be out-of-the-way and enjoy some reading, or maybe games with my brother and sister. My trusty sketchbook would never be too far away either, and I could spend some free time feeling creative.
If you’re feeling creative, but don’t have the energy to start a fresh page, here’s something to get you started:
It’s a coloring and activity page! I drew this one up a few years ago for my Korean students, but it’s a fun throw-back to all the construction-paper crafts that were always so readily to hand this time of year. This one’s a freebie, and I hope you enjoy it! I’d love to see pictures, if you’re inclined to post them! Also, if you have a good time, consider supporting me by buying one (or both!) of my coloring books, available on sale now on Etsy. I think you’ll have fun. 🙂
Thank you for dropping by, and, in the spirit of the holiday:
I’m thankful for every view and like that I receive on this site. I know I don’t post a lot, especially compared to some of the hyper-involved artists out on the web, so it means that much more to me when you take a moment to consider my input. Have a wonderful day!
